Qinghai Western Magnesium Technology Co., Ltd., is a technological developing company registered and founded in Feb. 2006, which is financed together by Western Mineral Limited Company(WMLC) and Central South University(CSU). The aim of the founding of the company is to develop and make use of the abundant magnesium resource of Qinghai salt lake by combining the financial advantages of WMLC and the technological superiority of CSU in exploiting and making use magnesium resources of Qinghai salt lake.
The company has a strong group for scientific and technological development. The Qinghai provincial engineering technology research and development center had been authorized and found in the Company in December 2006.
The company has already been authorized to obtain the mining right of magnesium resources in Tuanjie lake, Golmud city, Qinghai province. The Unique and abundant Magnesium resource establishes stability basis for developing of the company. The company had built a product line of an annual output of 6, 000 tons of high purity Magnesium Hydroxide, which is implementing Q/XBM 01-2007 quality standard. The quality of product is superior to similar products at home and abroad. The product is the preferred raw material for series of high-end products such as magnesium hydroxide, magnesium oxide etc.
It is the company own responsibility that to develop national high-quality magnesium hydroxide products.
